Air Duct and Furnace Cleaning Process

 

Below is a step by step description of the process used for cleaning the air duct system.

 

  • Remove, brush, and vacuum vent and return covers.

  • Use specialty brushes the loosen the dust and debris in the vent lines.

  • Use a high powered vacuum to remove the dust and debris in the vent lines.

  • Use specialty brushes the loosen the dust and debris in the returns lines.

  • Use a high powered vacuum to remove the dust and debris in the return lines.

  • If the system has never been cleaned, access holes will be cut in the main lines.

  • Use specialty brushes the loosen the dust and debris in the main lines.

  • Use a high powered vacuum to remove the dust and debris in the main lines.

  • Blow compressed threw the vent and returns forcing remaining dust and debris into main lines.

  • Again a high powered vacuum will be used to clean the main lines.

  • Access panels are installed and sealed.

 

 

Below is a step by step description of the process used for cleaning the blower motor.

 

  • Furnace will be checked to make sure it is fully functional.

  • Power to furnace will be turned off.

  • Blower motor will be taken out and dissembled.

  • The actual motor is cleaned, vacuumed, and oiled.

  • The fan blades are cleaned with a degreaser.

  • The area around the blower motor in the furnace is whipped out and vacuumed.

  • Everything is reassembled, fan blades are balanced, and put back in place.

  • Power is turned on and furnace is checked to make sure it is fully functional.

 

 

Below is a step by step description of the process used for cleaning the A/C coils.

 

  • Furnace will be checked to make sure it is fully functional.

  • Power to furnace will be turned off.

  • A/C coils will be opened, and vacuumed.

  • Specialty A/C coil cleaner will be sprayed on the coils and rinsed until coils are clean.   

  • Coils will be straightened with a specialty coil comb, if needed.

  • The area around the A/C coils in the furnace is whipped out and vacuumed.

  • Everything is reassembled and put back in place.

  • Power is turned on and furnace is checked to make sure it is fully functional.
